Diana Zuieva is a conservatory-trained classical pianist, piano educator, and examination specialist with over 15 years of teaching experience working with children, teenagers, and adults of all levels.

Holding a Master's Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, Diana combines strong classical traditions with a supportive and motivating approach that helps students build confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation of music.

International exam boards give students an internationally recognised benchmark of progress, structured around scales, repertoire, sight-reading and aural skills. A certificate from ABRSM, Trinity or MTB is accepted by schools and universities worldwide, gives students a clear sense of achievement, and keeps practice focused between one grade and the next.

Most students progress well with one 45–60 minute lesson per week, paired with short daily practice at home. Students preparing intensively for an upcoming grade exam often benefit from two shorter weekly sessions, so technique and repertoire can be reviewed more frequently.

Look for a teacher with formal qualifications, real experience with your child's age group, and a teaching style that balances structure with encouragement. A trial lesson is the best way to judge fit — watch how the teacher explains a new concept and whether your child feels comfortable asking questions.

A first instrument should have full-size, weighted (touch-sensitive) keys and at least 61 — ideally 88 — keys, so technique transfers properly as a student advances. A quality digital piano is a practical, tuning-free starting point for most families; we're always happy to advise on a specific model before you buy.
